These tiny pieces of art are so creative and fun to make! It all started from a trip to Italy and viewing the beautiful streets of Orvieto. Narrow stone streets lined with baskets of red flowers and countryside views of red poppies and so much more! They are all hand stitched except for the finishing on your machine, along with hand beading on the edges. You can make these into a broach, necklace/talisman or they are beautiful framed in a tiny shadowbox frame for a unique piece of hand stitched art in your home. If you like to work tiny, this class is definitely for you! Join Susan for a quick project and learn some new stitches. Susan will provide a small kit for this class.

***Note: Most of the basic items will be included in the kit. Items with and ** will not be included.

• Pattern for “Tiny Landscape Art” $12.
• Small pieces (5” or smaller) of background fabric (light weight with little to no print)
• Foreground fabric (cobblestone or grass looking fabric with tiny prints)
• House or building fabric in solids or nearly solid light weight fabric
• **Backing Fabric
• **Taupe Sewing Thread for machine stitching
• Pearl Cotton Threads Size #8 & #12 (fine weight), red, green, brown, gold, etc.
• Chenille Needle #24 or 22
• **Needle Grabber or rubber thimble
• Small pieces of Quilter’s Dream Fusion Batting (5”)
• **#8 Glass Beads for edging & beading thread (Beads will not be included in kit) I use a small Quilting Between needle for beading.
• **Tiny Charms or Buttons (moon, bird, bee, etc.)
• Small Embroidery Scissors
• Small Pins
• Ribbon or brass pin for jewelry and/or shadowbox frame for wall art.
