Robin Ruth Revisited - Strip Pieced Mariners Compass

Come join us to learn or get better acquainted with the Robin Ruth Mariners Compass Technique. Her Strip Pieced technique using her specialty rulers makes awesome Mariner's Compass blocks. If you've always wanted to try this type of block but were not interested in paper piecing, this may be the technique for you. Come join us to check it out! You can choose the skinny robin or fat robin compass block.
Supplies Needed: (Many of these items available at Sew Much Fun!)
- Robin Ruth's Fat Robin Book and Ruler OR Skinny Robin Book and Ruler
- Angle Ruler by Robin Ruth
- half yard pieces to make up the points in your compass and background
- for center pieces you will need small scraps (at least 5" square)
- stabilizer for center applique
- Regular sewing supplies (sewing machine in good working order, quarter inch foot, cutting mat and rotary cutter, thread, scissors, pins, ironing station if you want to use your own.)
- freezer paper will be provided in class
