Cuddle Up with BERNINA

Come into the cozy world of Cuddle fabric using the powerful BERNINA L8 Series serger. In this two day workshop you will make 3 projects:  a Infinity Scarf, a soft, luxurious lap blanket and an coordinated envelope-style pillow including a Shannon Fabrics brand pillow form.  A Shannon Fabrics educator will be presenting this workshop.

Here's what to expect:

Day 1 - The workshop begins with the essentials: how to handle, cut, and serge Shannon Fabrics’
signature Cuddle®. You will explore the differences in fabric qualities and get a solid introduction to the BERNINA L8 Series Serger. The day includes a beginner friendly Infinity Scarf everyone can wear home. This project builds comfort with key serging techniques. You will leave excited ready to see what day 2 has in-store.

Day 2 - Today you will complete two take-home projects: a soft, luxurious lap blanket and an
coordinated envelope-style pillow including a Shannon Fabrics brand pillow form. These projects reinforce skills from Day 1 and introduce new techniques while offering beautiful, giftable results.

There will be two people per machine, but everyone will have a chance to sew each of their kits to take home finished projects.

NOTE:  If you already own a BERNINA L860 or L890, we would like you to bring your machine to sew on and share with one other person.  We will present you will a $30 Gift Card to Sew Much Fun! at the Event for your consideration.  Please let us know ahead of time so we can set up accordingly.
