The Sewing Space Station

In this two-part class you will make a sewing mat that also stores your rulers, tools, pattern, etc. This versatile project is as much fun to make as it is to use. You will learn several different techniques in the process. Never fear bias binding with curves again!

You will learn several techniques as well as how to sew bias
binding around curves effortlessly.

Session 1
You may precut your templates and store them in a large
baggie.
Bring your rulers, fabric scissors, cutting mat, pins,
clips, etc. You may need your machine depending on how fast
your cutting goes. No worries if you don’t get it quilted as
we have allowed time in between sessions for this!
We will be putting the Sewing Space Station together. It
goes pretty fast and is sew much fun you will want to make
more! You will learn to never fear binding curves with this
easy method.
You will be cutting all of your pieces and parts, fusing the
Fusible Fleece, Pellon SF 101 and preparing your quilt
sandwiches.

several other techniques that can be used in your everyday
quilting and sewing. The project goes together quickly after

one!
