Fabric Based Bowls

Now that you have the basics down pat for making a rope bowl, let’s add some fabric to the base. Get creative and fussy cut patterns to be the design in the bottom of your bowl. You will be amazed at the transformation by just adding whole pieces of fabric to the base. With additional touches, you will create a one-of-a-kind bowl to share with your friends.
Supply List:
Working Sewing Machine
Slide on table for sewing machine.
Open Toe ZigZag foot/correct stitch plate
Jeans needle: 100/16
Scissors - for thread and rope
Measuring Tape/Yard Stick
Thread: Aurifil 30wt Natural color will match the rope, you can use colored if you
prefer. This will be used for upper/lower thread.
Fabric of your choice for fussy cutting
Wonder Under - ½ yard
Pencil
25 - 50 yards of 3/16 rope at Sew Much Fun
(This will depend on how big of a bowl you want to do or how many little projects)
