Barn Quilt Workshop

Barn Quilts are quilt blocks that are painted onto a specialty board. American Barn Quilts date back almost 300 years. While they are still used today to decorate barns, we also use them to decorate storage building and homes both inside and out. In Janet Benoy’s beginner class, you will select, draw, and paint your own barn quilt. Artistic skills are not required! Janet will teach you how to make your barn quilt look it’s best. At the end of this class, you will have a 1’ X 1’ barn quilt.
Class details: Sat. May 18th 10am – 2:30pm Cost: $70 All supplies are included! Just come and enjoy. Bring your own snack/lunch. Wear clothing that you would not mind getting paint on. Bring an apron if you wish. Optional Barn Quilt Beginner’s Pattern book will be available for purchase at end of class.
