Binding Description
Binding can make or break a quilt, so learn how to make the finishing of your quilt you have worked so hard on to look GREAT! This class is designed to take all the fear out of binding your quilts! No longer will you be struggling with the mitered corners on those quilts you’ve worked so hard on. There will be several binding techniques discussed for different types of quilts.
Binding Supply List:
- Sewing machine with 1/4” Presser Foot & Applique Presser Foot
- 3/4 yd. of fabric to make bias binding
- Taupe thread (Mettler 620 or 621)
- Small quilt, such as quilted placemat size. Nothing fancy, but it has to be quilted before class.
- Rotary cutter, Matt, and 6” x 24” ruler
- Pins
- Scissors
- Binding Clips
- Hand Sewing Needle and Thread to match the binding fabric
• Minimum of 3 students required before class will happen
