Table Runner - First Paper Piecing Project

You just learned how to paper piece and want to try out your new skill? Or learned to paper pieced a few years ago but never got around to making anything with it? This class is just right for you! You will be helped to make something you can be proud of with paper piecing. It will consist of (3) sessions and a pre-class. The pre class session will help you in  picking out your fabrics and getting organized the Judy Niemeyer way. The first full sew session will begin with an explanation of cutting the pattern out correctly and then starting to do the paper piecing. Those that need help with paper piecing, like the flying geese, etc.  will receive help from the instructor in getting started. This class is not for total beginners to paper piecing. You must have a working knowledge of paper piecing or have taken the beginners class taught by Carl. The later sewing sessions will include: putting the sections together; how make perfect centers when putting the sections together; quilting tips; and doing an inside miter corner on the binding.

Check calendar for dates.

One fee for pre class and all three classes.  Note: Pre-class is a one on one session with Carl (about 2.5 hours long) usually 1 week before the first class.  No sewing machine is needed for pre class.  Carl will call you to set up a mutually convenient date and time at Sew Much Fun!
