Do you love to decorate for the holidays? Would you like to decorate a small space, such as a dorm room, office, or small apartment? Join Kim to make the perfect tree quilt to decorate a door or wall for any holiday or season. This is an easy paper piecing project.
SUPPLIES: *Pattern – Tall Trim The Tree (26 ¾” x 76 ¾”) OR A Little Bit Shorter Tall Tree (17” x 41”)
*Fabric- yardage listed on pattern Help with fabric selection and fabric prep available at Sew Much Fun
*Machine – you only need a straight stitch
*New machine needle – (I used Microtex 80/12) An open toe foot w/o the side bar (some ¼” feet have the bar)
*Piecing thread to match your project
*Small cutting mat – even if you cut your fabric before class
*Small iron *Small ironing board
*Straight pins – (I recommend flower head pins for this project.)
*Add-A-Quarter ruler or Creative Grids 3 ½” x 12” ruler Index card, post card, or subscription card from a magazine
Lunch – to enjoy in our kitchen area
To make the most of class time pre-cutting fabric per pattern instructions is preferred.
