All About ME
All About ME! is an in-store, virtual education event that includes a 30-45 minute embroidery presentation by a knowledgeable BERNINA educator . After the video presentation, we will start to work on the project. This class will meet on one Saturday each month. $15 per class ($30 if machine was not purchased at Sew Much Fun!) which includes CD you will take home covering the class information. If you can’t make the class, but want the CD, sign up and let us know you won’t be able to attend and we will burn you a CD. This is for all embroidery machine owners—not just BERNINA brands.

| Bernina Club
Bernina Club - Sew Much Fun! is excited to offer this class where you will have fun exploring new patterns and techniques. Each class will include a Power Point presentation followed by a sit and sew, and each student will take home a CD containing all instructional material. Susan Fears, BERNINA educator will present in a recorded webinar.. Class Fee is $15 which includes the CD ($30 if machine was not purchased from Sew Much Fun!). Another DECORATOR PILLOW that is fun to make. And the extra bonus of this pillow is that you can use your scraps, whether they are home decorator fabrics or scraps from your last quilt. We will be making a cover for an 18 inch pillow while learning some new techniques. If you don’t like zippers, no problem, you can make a flap back, the choice is yours.

As many of you know, Susan LOVES Amy Butler’s quilt designs & her unique fabric lines! The colors the patterns, well she just loves all of it! So when she saw this Yo-Yo quilt Amy designed she had to make one. Susan has taken her directions & made the quilt with some easier techniques for layering and quilting. This is a two part class since you will need some time to make all those fabulous Yo-yo’s! Class one we will be piecing the backgrounds & making yo-yo’s. Class two we will be making the ruffle & quilting the quilt. You will have a blast working with these beautiful fabrics! They will make you very happy!

 | Fat Quarter Shuffle
This scrappy fat quarter busting quilt is beginner friendly and quick to make. Stack fat quarters and then use freezer paper to make a template, cut and shuffle the layers! Once the blocks are pieced we wil use all of the fun decorative stitches in your machine to quilt as you go. It is very easy to make this quilt larger or smaller depending on how many fat quarters you want to use.

Learning to Sew - In this one session class get the basics to get you started sewing. Learn machine operation, variety of straight stitch seams and overcastting seam edges. Bring your machine from home or test drive one of our wonderful Bernina classroom machines. You will leave class with confidence and ready to start your first project. We will introduce sewing basics and learn how to read patterns while making different sewing projects and gifts. We will be using Kwik Start & Kwik Sew Learning to Sew Patterns. Learning to Sew Continued - This class is for all levels of sewers. Beginners- start your first project. Advanced beginners- continue to learn new techniques. And for you well advanced sewers get help on projects, or just come for an evening of sewing. Prerequisite: Learning to Sew or teacher approval $75 for three classes

How about a Log Cabin Quilt that when sewn together will reveal its stars. I had a great time sewing this Quilt and could hardly wait to get to the next step. The finished Quilt measures 60 in x 60 in and is made from one Jelly roll or 40 2 ½ in wide strips cut WOF. plus 1 7/8 yds. of fabric for Stars, borders and binding.

“Machine Quilting & Binding Description”
This class will combine both machine quilting & binding on one little quilt. We will be working on “Quilt Sandwiches” about the size of a placemat & then we will bind them after they are quilted. There will be a multitude of quilting designs we will explore, from using the Walking Foot to Free Motion & if you have the BSR, that will also be covered. Machine quilting takes lots of practice, but this will give you all the tips to make your quilting so much better! Once you try it, you will be hooked!

Designed to make you comfortable with your new serger, this class covers threading, tension settings, and basic serger applications. “Party Garden Lily Quilt”
Description
This little mixed-media quilt is so much fun to make! We will first work on the background with free motion quilting techniques and fabric painting using Caran D’Ache water soluble crayons. You will learn how to couch wire to make the 3-D flower, along with beading. Machine ruching flowers from ribbon hand and embroidered embellishments. Fun uses of paper, yes, paper stems, and dragon fly! To finish with a very different binding technique that adds a bit of dimension to the edge of this very unique quilt! There will be other flowers to choose from as well.

 | Quilting 101 2013
Quilting 101 will explore many piecing techniques. You will learn from ground zero how to cut, sew & press each block. We will also talk about products & how they effect the finished quilt. So use the good stuff! Good thread, good fabric, good tools, good skills make for a beautiful finish! Each block will build to create a wall hanging or baby quilt when finished. This could be done slightly differently to make a lap size quilt if you like. Most of all we are going to have fun quilting! This is a 4 part class.

| Software Mastery Class 6
Class Six– Multi-Hooping, Special Effects and Special Programs —Tuesday, 6/11, 6 to 9
This class will introduce students to the techniques needed to break apart larger designs and save the parts for multi-hooping. It will also cover special effects such as pattern stitches, the halo tool and stippling. There will also be an overview of the quilter and cross stitch programs.

Sew Much Fun! is hosting a virtual software presentation by a BERNINA Educator. Each month will include a software lesson with instructions for the various levels of BERNINA Embroidery Software. You will also receive instructions for using your new software knowledge to create a project and have an opportunity to try your hand at a number of embroidery and embellishment techniques. Each session is $15 if software was purchased from Sew Much Fun! ($30 each if software was purchased elsewhere). You will also be able to take home the design because it will be in its’ final form on the CD you will receive. If you can’t make the class, but want the CD, sign up and let us know you won’t be able to attend and we will burn you a CD.
If you have been wondering about the software and want to come sit in on the demonstration, please come as our guest! We do ask you to sign up so we can arrange the classroom appropriately.
