This is a fast and fun quilt to make. I love this quilt in batiks but any fabric will work. This quilt is made using a stack and whack method and can be made in an afternoon. You will want to make more than one. Pick five different colors; be daring and go bright and bold. You will stack layers, make random cuts, shuffle and piece it all back together again. This is a quick pieced quilt with little worry about color placement. No need to pick borders as they are only added to the top and bottom of this quilt and made from the center color of the quilt.

Cost: $ 35.00
What a wonderful, patriotic wall hanging or small lap quilt. It looks like it’s waving in the breeze. Very simple to make and no corners to match. It doesn’t get any better than this. Get it done in time for a Christmas gift.

Once you have completed one braid we can pick out your center fabric. We will discuss the trimming of your braids and the process of assembling your quilt but will not complete this quilt in class.
